Why Piano Guild

As many of you already know, I have had many students successfully participate in the National Piano Guild Auditions.  This spring will be the first time I have our New England Students participate.  Over the years, I have had people ask me why I choose to have our students participate in Guild.  Here is a link to an article that I recently found that sums a lot of my ideas up.

Master Max

Please join me in graciously thanking Master Max.  Max recently gave our studio an eraser and many stickers!  Our students will have a lot of fun using these fun items!  Thank you Max for your kindness!

Miss Isabella

Best wishes to Miss Isabella!  Isabella will be playing the piano and singing her favorite Broadway Show Tune for her entire school at an upcoming school meeting.  Good luck Isabella!

Miss Bridget

Please join me in congratulating Miss Bridget!  Bridget played two songs on her keyboard for her classmates during snack time.  Her teacher calls this "Cabaret Snack".  Bridget did a fantastic job!  Hooray for Bridget!

Ivory Keys - are they illegal?

Hello Piano Friends!

Do you own a piano?  Do you own a piano with real ivory keys?  If so, you may want to read this article regarding the Obama Administration's ban on the selling and trading of ANY piano with ivory keys.  This post is not meant to be political.  It is only intended to inform piano enthusiasts about the new law.
