Congratulations to all of our students who performed this evening for the residents of a local nursing home! The residents were delighted by our students' incredible talent! Thank you to the nursing home for the cookies & iced tea after the recital! Tonight we tried something a little different... the students performed in order by age. We started with our only preschooler & concluded with one of our middle school students. The residents loved it. At the same time, so did our students! Some of our younger beginner students were inspired by our more experienced students & they had the chance to see first hand the results of years of practice at the piano! Jaime, Fayth, Jonathan, Emily & Elizabeth performed all of the songs they are memorizing & preparing to perform before a National Piano Guild Judge in May.
This evening was Miss Sydney's first ever recital. This evening was Mister Jonathan & Miss Elizabeth's first time ever performing at this nursing home!
