Miss Lexie

Please join me in a huge round of applause for Miss Lexie!  Lexie recently completed her Piano Adventures Level 2 B "Orange Books".  Lexie's favorite pieces were "Classic Sonata", "Ice Skater Waltz" and "Banana Boat Song" from the orange books.  Green is her favorite color and cherries are her favorite food!  When she is not playing the piano, she enjoys soccer, skiing, swimming, drawing and reading.  Lexie would like to become a professional soccer player.

Master Charlie

Congratulation to Master Charlie!  Charlie recently completed his Level C My First Piano Adventures Series and started the Level 1 Red Books.  Charlie's favorite colors are red and blue.  His favorite foods are chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers.  Mozart's "Let's Go Play" was his favorite song.  Charlie performs regularly at the local nursing home recitals.  Football, soccer, and Legos are his favorite things to do when he not playing the piano.  When Charlie is an adult, he would like to be a engineer of technology.

Logan

Please join me in congratulating Logan!  Logan recently completed his Piano Adventures Level 1 "Red Books".  His favorite song from the lesson books was "I've Got Music".   Chicken is Logan's favorite food and his favorite color is green.  When he is not playing the piano, he enjoys reading all types of fiction, wrestling and tackle football,  Way to go Logan!

Master Jonathan

Please join me in a huge round of applause for Master Jonathan!  The photos above are my two favorites of a photo shoot with Jonathan disguising his pride and excitement of his recent accomplishment.  Master Jonathan successfully completed his Level 1 Red Piano Adventures Series.  Jonathan's favorite color is red.  "I've Got Music" was his favorite song from the Red Books.  When Jonathan is not busy playing the piano, he enjoys flag football, lacrosse, tennis, playing outside and playing with friends.  Jonathan would like to be a professional pitcher when he is older.

Please join me in congratulating Master Max!  Max completed his Level 1 "Red" Piano Adventures Books yesterday!  He has started working from the Level 2A Blue Books.   "I've Got Music" and "Rain Dance" were his favorite songs from the red books.  Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are his favorite food, while orange is his favorite color.  Max's friends refer to him as the "Star Wars Master".  He also enjoys baseball and watching his favorite team, the New York Yankees!  Vacations and playing with both of his brothers and sister are his favorite things to do when he is not playing the piano!  Hooray for Max!

My goal for my students is for them to learn a life long skill of being able to play and appreciate music...

After a year long break from the piano and several drum lessons, my son (almost 13) sat down at my piano and played for my husband and I for 45 minutes. It was my son's idea. I did not correct any missed notes & only answered a few questions. He played in a way he has never played before. It was relaxed and beautiful. He played his 2014 Guild songs and other previous favorites. In this moment, I knew I accomplished my goal at the piano for him. Maybe he has other goals to be achieved, maybe not. Regardless, my heart is full!
