Miss Kendall
Good to Miss Kendall as she plays Christmas Carols for her entire music class at school today! At our Winter Recital, Miss Kendall played "Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" for our audience. Miss Kendall was fortunate enough to have her grandparents fly in from out of state to be in the audience of our recital! Congratulations Kendall!
Madison & Fayth
Best wishes to Miss Madison & Miss Fayth and their basketball team! They are both playing basketball for our local township! Their first game was this past weekend! Unfortunately after many attempts I have not been able to post their adorable photos! Good luck girls & protect your beautiful piano playing hands!
Our Nursing Home Recital
Merry Christmas!
Part of the joy of the holiday season is giving & sharing! Last evening many of our students shared their musical talent by playing two holiday songs for the residents of a local nursing home! The staff of the facility provided us with a yummy pasta dinner! All of our students did a terrific job performing, dining & visiting with the residents. Our residents LOVED have our students visit & play the piano for them. MANY of them sang & hummed along while our students played.
Congratulations to the following students:
Matthew
Alison
Ilene
Fayth
Madison
Cole
Sophia F.
Carson
Emiliana
Lailany
Jaime W.
Antonio
Cristofero
Vincent

A very special thank you to Antonio, Vincent & Cristofero who delivered beautiful poinsettas to several residents who won't be receiving many gifts or visitors on Christmas Day.
We are looking forward to sharing our musical talents with the residents again in the new year!

Ellie & Grant
Miss Ellie performed "Ellie's Song About the Polar Express" for our audience before she fell asleep! (Such a big day for a 4 year old... earlier that day her entire ballet class performed for all of the parents!) Great job Ellie!
This year was Grant's 3rd year of performing in the Note-worthy Experiences Piano Recital. He played, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Deck The Halls" (without his glasses - oops!). Great job Grant! Next year remind your mom (me) to make sure you have your glasses!

Ellie & Sophia eating Lailany's cupcakes!
After our recital, all of our friends & families joined us for desserts & punch! Miss Lailany baked some terrific cupcakes in her free time when she wasn't preparing to play "Feliz Navidad" & "Away In The Manger" for our audience. As you can see in this photo, Sophia & Ellie truly enjoyed them! Thanks Lailany!
Miss Sophia
Miss Emily
Miss Emily played "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" and "Carol of the Bells" at our third Annual Winter Recital. This was Emily's second performance in our recital. Emily did a terrific job! Thank you Emily!
Thank you to her parents for all of their help in making the arrangements with the church, setting up & cleaning up!

Congratulations to Miss Alison, Miss Ericka & Miss Julie for doing a terrific job at your school Chorus Concert last week! We can't wait to see photos! Their concert was the same evening as our recital rehearsal - so these ladies had an evening filled with music!

2009 Winter Recital
Please join me in a huge round of applause for our 33 Note-worthy Experiences Students who performed in our 3rd Annual Winter Recital on Saturday! All of our students did a terrific job! Everyone looked terrific! I truly enjoyed celebrating all of our students accomplishments with their friends, families, neighbors & school teachers! The photo above is of all of our performers after they received their flowers, certificates. (& Christmas gifts from me!)
Congratulations to Jimmy for being the winner from our Good Grades Drawing! Jimmy won a $25 gift card to Blockbuster! Enjoy and have fun Jimmy!
Thank you to all of the students & performers for always trying your hardest! Thank you for moving outside of your comfort zones & trying new things! I am motivated to work hard for each & everyone of you! I appreciate the fact that all of you work hard at the piano when I ask you to!
Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to set up, clean up, greet guests, bake goodies, bring napkins, fold programs, line up performers & all other of the other countless tasks you did to make the event run perfectly!
Thank you to Emily's family for setting everything up with the church, handling the sound system, lights, tables, chairs, clean up, refreshment tables, loading & unloading my car as well as the other tasks you did to make my life so much easier!
Thank you to Jayne & Lesley for your hard work in getting each performer to the stage right on time!
Thank you to Jeanne for being my last minute assistant in passing out the flowers, certificates & Christmas gifts! (so Tom could keep holding our sleeping Ellie!)
Thank you to all of our piano families - it has been a pleasure to welcome you into our extended family!
Thank you to all of you for your support, encouragement & referrals this past year! It has been another amazing year!
Thank you to the parents for teaching your student & your entire family to love and appreciate music! As my daughter's ballet teacher says, "Without the fine arts, life is dull!"
Thank you to my parents for the countless number of music lessons, lesson books & sheet music! Thanks for making me practice even when I didn't want to! Thanks for all of the love & support!
Thank you to my grandparents for my piano - the greatest gift I have ever received from both of you!
Thank you to Tom, Grant & Ellie for understanding that the hours I spend at the keyboard (piano and computer) are worth it in the end!
Please feel free to leave your comments below and to post photos!
